About SEDC
Support for Ethiopian Deaf Community (SEDC), a Nonprofit organization, was founded by a group of Ethiopian-born Deaf individuals and advocates living in the USA. We partner with established nonprofit organizations working diligently to improve the welfare of Deaf people in Ethiopia. Our focus is to deliver support, empowerment, and happiness to the Deaf communities throughout Ethiopia.

We will collaborate with other non-governmental organizations to promote equality, empowerment, and a more inclusive society, for the Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Children.

We strive to guarantee that NGOs’ rights to exist and independence are protected.

While maintaining integrity in our performance and advocating for the same in public institutions, we hold ourselves accountable to the utmost level of ethical behavior and responsibility for our activities.

When our mission requires it, we seek unified action and cooperation, and we stand with and by other NGOs whenever they endure problems.
